Jewelry is Art and Fashion

Rhoma Young’s love of antique jewelry evolved into a passion for collecting, brokering and designing after a long career as a well establishes antiques dealer. It incorporates her fascination with history, beauty, artistry, virtuosity and self expression.

Her love and appreciation of jewelry and master craftsmanship led her to design her own line, RY Private collections.  This line is built on antique jewelry, some of which has been redesigned into contemporary fashion.

It combines full range of styles. She has partnered with a master goldsmith and enamelist to achieve fresh, unique, one of a kind pieces of wearable art.

Rhoma will bring a panoramic selection of antique/vintage and refashioned jewelry examples from different historic periods. Included are examples from tribal, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, arts and crafts, deco, retro, Modernist and later 20th century Studio Craft designs.

This is one of those “Oh wow” pieces. Because it’s not just a piece it’s an entire ensemble. The necklace is a pendant, and a pair of matching bracelets in Garnet and gold. Joining that is a beautiful pair of 19th century cabochon Garnet earrings. All of the garnets are beautifully foiled, and reflect the light in the most attractive way.
