Women in Jewelry - NorCal | Conversations on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Sensitivity in Social Media - From Hurtful to Helpful

Screen Shot 2020-09-14 at 6.48.35 PM.png

Join the WJA community in a conversation about how to compassionately navigate social media when addressing racial justice issues.

Public relations expert Temi Adamolekun and jewelry designer Lauren Harwell Godfrey will answer questions facilitated by best selling author and feminist activist Kate Schatz. The panel will explore how social media engagement can positively and negatively affect our Black community. It's common to join in showing support for social justice and human rights issues by posting on our personal or business pages.

Let’s come together to discuss successful approaches and mistakes we may encounter online.
